| Description: | This is a hands-on introduction to creation of animations, interactive stories, presentations, and games. It takes advantage of a free software package developed by MIT's Lifelong Kindergarten Group. A graphical interface allows users to create and share projects on the web without spending hours learning a complex computer language. However, the principles exercised while experimenting with such projects serve as a foundation for people who want to move on to more complex programming. Active online forums and an online library of over two million downloadable projects augment classroom guidance provided by the instructor. Meets Wednesdays, 1/23-2/20, in Glenwood.
