| Description: | This class provides hands-on training to give you the skills to become a home care worker, paid care provider, family caregiver and/or volunteer by preparing you to assist the chronically ill, disabled, or frail older adult. A great starting point for those interested in a health care career as you obtain basic experience while developing a skill that may open up career opportunities. GED or high school diploma not required for this course. Minimum age for enrollment is 16. A text and workbook are required and students are expected to have the texts by the first class.
