Breckenridge Heritage Alliance - Museum Collections
Work with the Breckenridge Heritage Alliance to develop a digital inventory of the organization’s museum collections. Develop and implement a plan for photographing Alliance collections and organize a complete inventory/database of our historical assets.

Breckenridge Heritage Alliance - Survey Development & Management
Develop a new visitor survey for the Breckenridge Heritage Alliance to track visitor statistics and feedback. Breckenridge Heritage Alliance - Educational Programming
Work with the Breckenridge Heritage Alliance to develop new elementary school programs for student field trips and day camps at our historical sites. Create new student activities tied to themes from Breckenridge’s history and to curriculum studied at each grade level. CMC Continuing Education - Marketing Database and Processes

Community Garden Network
Coordinate the collaboration of all community gardens under one umbrella organization called the Community Garden Network that can share online resources, volunteers, and plot information. Research may include planning a garden fundraiser to benefit all of the gardens (in 2013) or exploring various local and regional garden network models. Family & Intercultural Resource Center - Event Management
Work with the Family and Intercultural Resource Center (FIRC) in design, project management, marketing, operations and assessment of several key fundraising events being held this summer by FIRC. Family Wellness Center – Event and Program Development (Frisco)
Combine marketing, research and event management through your support of For Love of the Children, an event taking place in the fall. While the event, itself, will occur early in the fall much of the project will involve post-event follow-up research to identify opportunities for program improvement that will enhance multiple events and programs at Family Wellness. In all likelihood, much of the project work will involve conducting interviews and collating information that will enhance the delivery of services. Family Wellness Center – Volunteer Management Program Development (Frisco)
This position would be best accomplished by an adult CMC student with experience in volunteering at non-profits or other community work. The project would involve helping Family Wellness to develop a more formal volunteer program that better utilized the services of area volunteers. It would involve working with Family Wellness staff to identify volunteer opportunities and then developing some processes and procedures by which volunteers could support Family Wellness's work. Family Wellness Center - Information System and Analysis
Using Microsoft Access, build a database system to track client information. As part of that system, build in the capability to create summary statistics and reports that track and analyze client demographics, services provided and other key information. Family Wellness Center - Digital and Information Technology Processes and Systems 
Work to develop multiple aspects of digital and information technology needs in support of work in supporting efforts to improve children’s mental health. Initial projects include but are not limited to: creating remote video recording and storage system, improving communications systems (fax etc.) and networking/wireless computer system. Food Policy Council
Work with the Summit County Food Policy Council, Urban Farming Task Force, local municipalities, and town/county planners to facilitate code amendments that support community gardens, goats, chickens, and bees. Research may include attending forums and public hearings, canvassing, meeting with town and county planners, or reviewing urban farming models across Colorado and the country. Full Circle - Social Networks and Marketing 
If you have capabilities in Social Networks and an interest in developing your marketing skills you can help the mentoring program at Full Circle in Leadville. Use your skills to develop a program designed to recruit mentors to work with area youth. Prospective mentors will need to be reached through various social media as well as some traditional marketing channels. This project may also include opportunities to improve web communications and even create short videos. Full Circle - Outdoor Education with Youth Groups (various ages)
Full Circle in Leadville runs summer programs for youth groups in three different age groups (4th-6th grade; 7th-8th grade; high school). All three groups enjoy a variety of outdoor experiential activities that could be “extended” into more comprehensive learning experiences. This can be done by creating outdoor experiences that have learning activities or by designing learning experiences that can be added to existing activities. If your interest is in outdoor leadership, education, recreation or eventually working with youth this is a great opportunity to build your skills! Habitat for Humanity - ReStore Program (Chaffee County)
The Restore Program, part of the Chaffee County Habitat for Humanity (CCHFH), has multiple opportunities for students to engage in Service Learning projects. Four possibilities have been identified from which to choose one or more:
  - Supply Chain Improvement Plan – developing a plan to help Restore to increase sales, improve the quality of donations and reduce the quantity of disposable donated   materials.  This project would include the resale of products UBIT.
  - Marketing Plan – Develop an actionable to improve the organization’s public relations at low costs through multiple media channels such as PSA’s, newspaper and radio and social media.
  - Volunteer Enrichment Plan – develop a program that supports volunteerism at Chaffee Habitat with a systematic program designed to improve and maintain volunteer satisfaction, support volunteers in keeping their passion, and making advocates out of volunteers.
  - Merchandising Improvement Plan – develop a plan for retailing our merchandise and materials that will make things sell themselves, assist in the design of a new store and creating new signage that will engage customers.

Habitat for Humanity - Construction Site Development (Chaffee County)
Involves refining the vision developed by the Chaffee County Habitat for Humanity (CCHFH) board by defining the affiliate’s focus area and working toward acquiring sites within it by:
  - Identifying potential sites, evaluating  availability and general appropriateness of sites
  - In cooperation with the construction staff, evaluate the suitability of a site for the affiliate's inventory of basic house plans
  - Oversee the evaluation of specific due diligence issues relating to the site (status of title, entitlements, environmental issues, crime rates, possible NIMBY (“Not In My Backyard”) issues, proximity to family-related livelihoods [schools, jobs, transportation], etc.), develops and recommends a site acquisition policy for approval.
  - Present a prioritized list of properties to the board for their consideration.

Habitat for Humanity - Market Analysis (Chaffee County)
Research the need for affordable housing in Chaffee County and determine the number of families in the income range Habitat for Humanity serves. Habitat for Humanity - Marketing Plan (Chaffee County)
Develop a marketing plan for one area of Chaffee County Habitat for Humanity (CCHFH), (ReStore, Program Participants, Volunteers, and Donors) and create a written plan that identifies the size of the market, competition, historical overview of CCHFH efforts, growth potential, and strategy for reaching the market. The plan must contain specific objectives including time frame and quantitative measurements. Research should be based locally and also include examples from other Habitat for Humanity affiliates in rural areas of the country. The Marketing Plan could be broken down into separate items:

Habitat for Humanity - Volunteer Appreciation Program (Chaffee County)
Develop a program that includes various ways to appreciate Chaffee County Habitat for Humanity (CCHFH), Volunteers within the budget limits of Habitat by:
  - Identifying areas of volunteer involv  ement and the volunteers
  - Planning an annual Volunteer Appreciation Event
  - Creating ways to thank volunteers for their service
  - Developing  press releases regarding volunteer involvement and a CCHFH newsletter
  - Implement a system to show volunteers how their involvement makes a difference

High Country Conservation Center/Sustainable Breck - Energy Analysis and Auditing (Frisco)
Following training in basic energy auditing, projects will include the validation of energy auditing processes by using state of the art building energy use software. High Country Conservation Center - Community Gardens Program Development & Launch
Work with High Country Conservation Center (HC3) in the the development, project management, and launch of a new community garden program. The project includes all garden and food related aspects including planting, volunteer coordination, educational tours, and overseeing produce sells at local farm stands. Keystone Science School - Sustainability Plan

Northwest Council of Governments (Silverthorne)
Become involved in the Economic Development (ED) of nine counties in NW Colorado while developing professional relationships with ED stakeholders from both public and private sectors. Project(s) will be centered around the Forest Business Loan Fund and may include: loan processing, analyzing sustainability and business opportunities for loan qualification and, in general, supporting regional small business development. This position will involve travel with the program director in the director's vehicle.
