| | SOAR—Student Orientation and Registration in Steamboat SpringsNow that you have made the decision to attend the Steamboat campus, it’s time to take the next step and attend orientation and register for classes. For the best selection of classes, choose one of the earlier Summer S.O.A.R. Sessions. We focus on academics by assessing your current English, math, reading and writing. It is crucial to your success that you are placed in the classes that are right for you. Come to S.O.A.R. ready to work and have fun, too. All incoming student are required to attend an orientation, and it is also recommended for parents. After you’ve chosen the session you would like to attend, please register online. SOAR 2013 (Choose One)SOAR I—RSVP by June 12 Begins Thursday, June 20 at 9:00am and ends Friday, June 21 at 5:00pm. On-campus lodging for guests is available. SOAR II—RSVP by July 5 Begins Thursday, July 11 at 9:00am and ends Friday, July 12 at 5:00pm. On-campus lodging for guests is available. SOARIII (Reserved for out of state students) - RSVP by August 12 Begins Tuesday. August 20 at 9:00am and ends Wednesday, August 21 at 5:00pm. Students can move into the residence hall Monday, August 19, 12 noon to 3pm. On-campus lodging is not available for guests during this session.
