Carol Turrin, Associate Professor, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1978 from the University of South Florida, her Master of Business Administration in 1994 from the University of Phoenix, and her Master of Science in Nursing in 2012 from Walden University.
Carol has been full time faculty at Colorado Mountain College since 2007, and is licensed in the state of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
She has thirty-eight years of clinical and administrative nursing positions, including emergency services, intensive care, cardiac care, medical/surgical care including ambulatory services, gerontology, orthopedics, education, leadership and administration. Carol has also volunteered her time with the Health Community Fair in Summit County.
At the Breckenridge campus Carol currently teaches Leadership & Nursing Management, Basic Concepts of Medical-Surgical Nursing, Fundamentals of Nursing, Medical-Surgical Nursing: Gerontology, and clinical courses.
When Carol is not teaching at CMC she enjoys horseback riding, playing tennis, skiing, traveling, hiking and cooking—often with her dog Sonny by her side.
