Reviewing the nursing curriculum may be helpful. Discuss your financial aid needs and circumstances with a financial aid specialist and/or a CMC student services counselor to determine your optimal plan for completion of the general education courses and NUR courses once in the program. Computer competency is strongly recommended if you are seeking admission into the ADN nursing program. All admitted students must have reliable transportation to attend clinical sites which may be up to 300 miles from campus. You must demonstrate college-level proficiency in reading, writing and mathematics as part of acceptance into this program. This nursing program has certain physical and academic standards (pdf) which you will be required to meet before you are admitted to the program. Students accepted into the college's vocational programs must be physically, mentally, and emotionally self-supportive with reasonable accommodations. If there is a concern about meeting the physical and academic standard, students need to contact the Disability Services Coordinator who will determine the student's ability to participate in this program. You must be selected for admission to enroll in this program. Colorado Mountain College admits the best qualified candidates to ADN program each fall. Students must have a GPA of 2.4 to be considered for admission to the nursing program. Admission requirements and procedures are detailed in the nursing admission packet. Requirements and procedures are reviewed each year and are subject to change. It is the student's responsibility to obtain and complete the current the current year's admission packet. The application deadline for this nursing school program is February 1. Applications will not be accepted after the deadline. Both the Nursing Admission Packet and the Colorado Mountain College admissions application are required for admission into the nursing program. LPNs licensed in the state of Colorado wishing to advance their education for Registered Nursing for an AAS Degree in Nursing need to complete the Advanced Placement Application.
