Nearby are rivers like the fabled Frying Pan, Roaring Fork, Colorado, and the South Platte. A little further and you can be at the Green and the San Juan. High mountain lakes abound near campus and we are not far from the well-stocked Spinney Mountain and Antero reservoirs.
