The Associate of General Studies - Criminal Justice Emphasis degree is designed to transfer to a four-year degree program

The Associate of General Studies degree is a transfer program with Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction. Colorado Mountain College, the Community Colleges of Colorado and Colorado Mesa University have signed an articulation agreement which allows students who complete the curriculum at Colorado Mountain College to transfer to the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice program at Colorado Mesa University.

Earn your Associate of General Studies-Criminal Justice Emphasis degree at CMC and you will be admitted as a junior with no loss of credit. You'll save tuition costs and experience the high-country,  mountain life of Leadville. You must have a "C" or better in each of Colorado Mountain College's courses attempted in order for this agreement to be valid.

In addition, a transfer guide is in place for those who are planning to transfer to the University of Colorado at Denver. Please see your advisor and work with an advisor at CU-Denver if you are planning to transfer to that institution.
