Nothing gets the creativity going like putting pen to paper (or hands to keyboard)! You'll come up with lots of great ideas as you go through these modules. MERLOT is a free and open resource repository of peer-reviewed learning materials created for faculty and students in higher education. Get a taste of how you might use these discipline-specific learning materials (which often include sample assignments) in your online, hybrid or face-to-face classroom. In addition you will see what makes MERLOT stand out among other open educational resources and how you can become involved in MERLOT to beef up your resume and professional standing. All of the site's resources are available to anyone. Learners can create a free account to track what videos and lessons they have completed. As an instructor, you can ask your students to list you as their "Coach" in their Khan Academy account. Then you can view charts, graphs, and helpful data to see exactly which videos and exercises each student has completed, what topics they are finding difficult, and what their strengths are.
