Upward Bound is a federally funded TRIO program designed to assist 9th - 12th grade students prepare for and attend a college or university of their choice upon graduation from high school.Upward Bound serves 50 students from six area high schools including:
Upward Bound is not a remedial program but a college preparation program. Students are expected to maintain at least a "C" average in high school, attend Upward Bound meetings, and attend the intensive 6-week summer academic program at CMC's Roaring Fork Campus (Spring Valley Center) in Glenwood Springs.
