Gateway Program

The Gateway Program is a training and employment program for Garfield County which helps eligible parents to achieve greater levels of self-sufficiency. Gateway is a collaboration between the Garfield County Department of Social Services and Colorado Mountain College. We believe that future economic stability is fundamentally linked to education.

Who does the Gateway Program serve?

Gateway serves eligible parents either from the community at large, or from the Colorado Works program run by Garfield County Social Services. If you are an eligible parent currently receiving TANF (Temporary Aid to Needy Families) benefits from the Department of Social Services, or are a displaced homemaker or displaced worker, give us a call. Your life may never be the same!
