Visas

Passport applications can be obtained at any authorized U.S. Postoffice. A passport is your proof of U.S. citizenship and you must have a passport to travel to most countries.

The U.S. State Department is also available for resources regarding passports, at the aforementioned address, you will find:

  • Printable passport application
  • Nationwide list of passport agencies and their territories, including hours of operation
  • Where to apply for a passport nationwide
  • Where to write for vital records (birth, death, marriage and divorce)
  • Order form to obtain a certified birth certificate

A Visa is official permission to enter granted by the country you plan to visit. Not all countries require Visas, check with the Office of International for information on which countries require Visas. You can also use the following link to the Department of State - Foreign Entry Regulations

To obtain a Visa you must request an application from the Embassy or Consulate of the country you plan to visit.
