Choose your college education for the ski business industry. Our two-year degree program includes business education in accounting, business law, marketing, management, math and computer skills. Technical Snowboard & Ski Business courses cover equipment repair, merchandising, buying and manufacturing. In four semesters you will learn the general areas of business management necessary for entry-level or mid-management positions.

The one-year Ski & Snowboard Business Certificate program removes the general and business education requirements. This certificate gives you the opportunity to learn only the technical skills necessary to find employment in a retail ski and snowboard shop. The certificate's technical courses can be applied toward the Associate in Applied Science degree in Ski and Snowboard Business.

The Ski & Snowboard Business degree includes the Colorado Statewide Business Curriculum for transfer to four-year business degree programs. Colorado's public colleges and universities have adopted this common core of 33 credits in business education, computing and economics which are accepted in transfer to all public institutions. Business core courses from Colorado Mountain College will fulfill the same lower-division requirements for business degree programs at Colorado's public four-year institutions.

Several students take additional courses to complete their Associate of Arts degree in addition to their Ski & Snowboard Business degree. This gives them additional options for transfer for business or other four-year programs.

The Ski & Snowboard Business program also has a transfer agreement with the Business Management bachelor's degree program at Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado. This agreement describes special transfer of Ski & Snowboard Business credits beyond the Business Core.
