A College Degree in Ski Area Management

The Ski Area Operations Program at Colorado Mountain College is the nation's most comprehensive training program for employment in ski area management and operations. We combine technical and academic study in the college classroom with practical experience in ski jobs at Colorado ski resorts. This hands-on college degree provides the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in the snowboard and ski industry.

For 30 years, Ski Area Operations degree graduates from Colorado Mountain College have helped shape the snowboard and ski industry worldwide through skiing jobs in lift installation, ski area design and management, mountain operations and safety techniques. In these ski jobs, our graduates have built a solid reputation for the program with executives and managers at ski resorts worldwide. This degree is offered at the Colorado Mountain College Timberline Campus in Leadville, within an hour's drive of nine Colorado ski resorts, including Vail, Copper Mountain, Breckenridge and Keystone. It is the only college degree program in ski area management for the Rocky Mountain region.
