Associate of Applied Science – Process Technology

The Process Technology degree program at Colorado Mountain College will train you to work in a variety of industries: oil and gas, waste and water treatment, pharmaceuticals, power and electric plants and many others.

Process Technology involves every aspect of chemical processing. You will be extracting and refining raw materials (such as oil, natural gas, beverage ingredients and water). You will also separate or mix these elements, carefully monitoring the process that makes it happen. As a technician, you will be a key member of the team responsible for planning, analyzing and controlling production.

Current starting salaries for graduates with a two-year degree in Process Technology are $35,000-$65,000 per year.
