The Plumbing Apprenticeship is a Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training approved apprenticeship program. Colorado Mountain College, through a partnership with the Associated Builders and Contractors, offers all four years of the annually required 144 hours of related training needed by an apprentice in the plumbing trade.

The curriculum combines in-class, specific theory with hands-on skill development acquired in a real-life setting to prepare students to take and pass the plumbing apprenticeship certification test.
