Hands On: Wilderness trips in Colorado & beyond.

Colorado Mountain College Outdoor Education goals and curriculum are designed to approach learning with traditional theory as well as experiential (hands-on) activities. The program offers a comprehensive series of backcountry travel and appreciation courses as well as traditional college-level courses.

At Colorado Mountain College you will expand your knowledge and skills in outdoor leadership, mountaineering, kayaking, rafting, rock and ice climbing, horse packing, biology, ethics, anthropology, ecology, geology, avalanche awareness, first aid, safety and many more exciting classes. Wilderness trips throughout the semester will take you to some of America's most beautiful national parks and forests in Colorado and the West.
