Golf Club Management Faculty

Terry Hunter, Professor of Resort Management at the Alpine Campus, developed the Golf Club Management program in partnership with industry experts.Terry is a credentialed faculty member of the highly regarded American Hotel and Lodging Association’s Educational Institute. Working in his off time as an international consultant, Terry has his finger on the pulse of the hospitality industry. He mostly focuses on operational management as a personal executive trainer, so he is able to see how business organizations function from the highest levels. All of this experience is invaluable to his students who, he says, motivate him to do his best in the classroom. Resorts and hotels across the world call Terry to help make their operations more efficient. But his real passion is students. “We have so many incredibly successful students here,” he says. “That’s why I’m so enthusiastic to get to work every day.”

Several local golf professionals also teach in this program, bringing the latest trends and techniques to the classroom.
