Certificate of Proficiency - Professional Fly Fishing Guide

The Professional Fly Fishing Guide program at Colorado Mountain College is a six-week, in-residence summer program at the Timberline Campus in Leadville. Successful participants receive a Certificate of Proficiency – Fly Fish Guide upon completion of the program. 

The business of Fly Fish Guiding has grown significantly in recent years. Many guiding businesses have established themselves with year-round clientele, creating a continual need for qualified outdoor guiding staff. 

This program is designed to provide you with the skills and techniques needed to get a head start in fly fish guiding. In addition, you will be provided the basic skills to start your own business.
