Culinary Arts at Keystone Resort
Nestled in the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, 75 miles west of Denver, Keystone Resort has earned the reputation as a world-class winter and summer resort. During winter, snowboarders and skiers may choose from eight different mountains at Keystone, Breckenridge, and Arapahoe Basin. When the snow melts, the resort becomes an outdoor enthusiasts' paradise. No matter what time of year, Keystone features the best in lodging and dining.
Students work side by side with the chefs rotating through a different kitchen every six months. Each rotation gives the apprentice exposure to a variety of cuisine, food styles, operating environments, and work experiences.
Keystone Resort sponsors our Culinary Competition Team which successfully competes on the national level, routinely placing in the top five wherever we go. We also have an ice carving club and have hosted culinary tours in Europe.
While attending Colorado Mountain College, you will be working at Keystone Resort. The resort is a member of Preferred Hotels and Resorts Worldwide and the Alpenglow Stube and the Keystone Ranch restaurants have both won the prestigious AAA Four Diamond Award. The Zagat Survey named the Keystone Ranch as the third best restaurant in Colorado in 2001, 2002 and 2003.
As a full-time employee, you will be paid a competitive wage, receive a season ski pass, and qualify for a full benefits package including medical insurance and paid vacation.
