Mission
The Mission of International Programs at Colorado Mountain College is to design and implement successful programs and strategies that help our students, community, faculty, and staff become more effective and informed global citizens. Our quality study abroad programs expand educational opportunities allowing students to go beyond the traditional classroom. The purpose is to enhance international awareness and understanding and to enrich curricula for all CMC students.

• Our abroad experiences are an effective and dramatic way for students to achieve international and intercultural learning. Our Study Abroad Programs have a strong academic base and contribute significantly to careers in all fields of specialization and should be an integral part of any liberal arts and sciences education. The educated mind develops through time and experience. Students who return from study abroad experiences often return with a dramatically altered view of themselves and the world. They have a new sense of ethics and social responsibility which influences their educational goals and the rest of their lives. Study abroad changes lives, so we believe that students should have this experience early and often where opportunity allows.
