The Associate of General Studies - Criminal Justice Emphasis degree is designed to transfer into a four-year degree program.

Associate of General Studies degree (for transfer)
This is a transfer program with Metropolitan State College of Denver. Colorado Mountain College, the Community Colleges of Colorado, and Metropolitan State have signed an articulation agreement which allows students who complete the curriculum at Colorado Mountain College to transfer to Metropolitan State College's Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology. There you may earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology. You may emphasize in one of five areas. Under the terms of this agreement, you will be admitted as a junior with no loss of credit. You must have a "C" or better in each of Colorado Mountain College's courses attempted in order for this agreement to be valid.

In addition, Colorado Mountain College has signed a transfer agreement for this Criminal Justice program with the Sociology Department at Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado.
