Get Started With A Nursing CareerApplications are now being accepted for the 2008-2009 nursing school academic year.
Students are not awarded points for asterisked courses in the Nursing application process. Students who are planning to receive financial aid at full-time status or who may need full-time status for other reasons may choose to take these courses during the Nursing Program. Students receiving financial aid may benefit from carrying 12 credits or more each semester; however students may choose to be awarded financial aid based on three-quarter time enrollment. Reviewing the Nursing curriculum may be helpful. Discuss your financial Computer competency is strongly recommended if you are seeking admission into the ADN nursing program. All admitted students must have reliable transportation to attend clinical sites which may be up to 300 miles from campus. You must demonstrate college-level proficiency in reading, writing and mathematics as part of acceptance into this program. This nursing program has certain physical and academic standards which you will be required to meet before you are admitted to the program. Students accepted into the college's vocational programs must be physically, mentally, and emotionally self-supportive with reasonable accommodations. If there is a concern about meeting the physical and academic standard, students need to contact the Disability Services Coordinator who will determine the student's ability to participate in this program. You must be selected for admission to enroll in this program. Colorado Mountain college admits the best qualified candidates to ADN program each Fall. Students must have a GPA of 2.4 to be considered for admission to the Nursing program. Admission requirements and procedures are detailed in the Nursing Admission Packet. Requirements and procedures are reviewed each year and are subject to change. It is the students' responsibility to obtain and complete the current the current year's admission packet. The application deadline for this nursing school program is February 1. Applications will not be accepted after the deadline. Both the Nursing Admission Packet and the Colorado Mountain College Admissions Application are required for admission into the Nursing program.
