Database Searching Techniques

INTRODUCTION 

This tutorial is indented as a general introduction to database searching techniques. Academic Search Premier database provided by EBSCOhost company is used as an example. Most EBSCOhost databases have a similar interface. By learning how to use Academic Search Premier, you will be able to use any one of the EBSCOhost databases.  In fact, if you apply concepts introduced in this tutorial, you will be able to use any of the library research databases regardless of how similar or how different they look.

Academic Search Premier provides access to journal, magazine, and newspaper articles. A large number of articles indexed in this database are available in full-text.
