The Purchasing Department is a service department. We are here to provide assistance in all areas of the buying function of the College. In general, this includes maintaining and establishing vendor relationships and contracting for goods and services.
Following are some of the specific areas we can provide assistance with. If you don't see an area you're looking for, please call anyway -- we just may be able to help.

Writing and administering Invitations to Bid and Requests for Proposals;
Finding sources for products and/or services;
Aiding in review of literature and other information provided by vendors;
Contract negotiation;
Preparing contracts;
Assist in dispute resolution with vendors;
Create credit accounts with vendors;
Bidding to create standing price agreements with vendors for site-specific or College-wide needs;
Compilation of historical data in the areas of purchasing and contracting;
Price estimates for budgeting purposes.
