Institutional Research supports continuous improvement  by providing well-researched data for the educational community at CMC

Our Role
The Department of Institutional Research’s role is to facilitate the collection, analysis and reporting of institutional data in support of data-driven decision making, planning and policy development.

Our Mission
The mission of the Department of Institutional Research at Colorado Mountain College is to advance the college’s vision and mission by helping to provide evidence of accountability, overall institutional effectiveness and efficiency. This is accomplished by collecting, analyzing and disseminating data to college-wide users and for State and Federal entities. We adhere to a professional code of ethics as set forth by the Association of Institutional Researchers. We maintain a healthy work environment that stresses collaboration and professional development, while supporting continuous improvement and the sharing of best practices.
