Powerpoint Viewer
To install this download:
- You may want to print this page to use as a reference when you are offline.
- Download the file by clicking HERE and following the instructions in the dialog boxes, paying attention to the directory in which you save the file.
- Double-click the PPView97.exe program file on your hard disk to start the setup program.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
Note: The PowerPoint Viewer installation dialog boxes do not refer to PowerPoint 2000 or PowerPoint 2002. However, the viewer does work with these versions.
Instructions for use: to open a PowerPoint presentation, double-click the presentation file. The presentation will start.
To remove the download file itself, delete the file PPView97.exe from the directory where you saved it originally.
To uninstall this download:
- On the Start menu, point to Settings and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- In the list of currently installed programs, select Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer 97 and then click Remove or Add/Remove. If a dialog box appears, follow the
instructions to remove the program.
- Click Yes or OK to confirm that you want to remove the program.
