Welcome to the CMC Distance Learning Web Site
In addition to outstanding community and residential campuses, Colorado Mountain College offers a Virtual Campus. Our Virtual Campus provides distance learning opportunities with a variety of non-traditional ways for you to access education regardless of where you reside in CMC's service area. We offer courses and programs in three formats: TeleWeb courses, Interactive Video (IVS) Courses, and Web Courses over the World Wide Web. TeleWeb courses allow you to view course content through videos at your convenience. Interactive Video courses put you in touch with other students and an instructor via real-time, interactive video links. Web courses give you the ultimate flexibility in accessing course information and communicating with your instructor over the internet. Some courses may combine two or more formats. Some courses may be synchronous (scheduled at a specific time a place) while others may be asynchronous (anytime-anywhere). On the Distance Learning web site you will find detailed information concerning these educational opportunities and the people to contact should you desire more information.
