Faculty of the Year
Full Time Faculty of the Year
Leslie Stoupas, Associate Professor of Communications and Humanities since January 2000

Leslie began teaching for CMC, as an adjunct, in 1995, right after she received her M.A. in English. She began teaching full time in 2000 with a split contract between Roaring Fork and Rifle Campuses. At that time, many of the Rifle students were from the Rifle Correctional Facility, and she found herself with some new challenges to her teaching.
Adjunct Faculty of the Year
David Blair, Adjunct Faculty of Emergency Medical Services
This year the honor of college-wide adjunct faculty of the year goes to EMS instructor David Blair of the Rifle Campus. “He has gone above and beyond what normal adjunct faculty members usually commit to the college,” says Rifle Campus Dean Pam Arsenault. Since 1993, David has been coordinator of the Rifle Campus EMS program. He has devoted many hours of his own time and much of his own equipment to keep the EMS program functioning professionally.
