RYAN ALLEN teaches at the Basalt Middle School.  He received his ELL certification from Fort Lewis College and holds his MA in Education with a major in Language Acquisition Reading from Adams State.

CHRIS ANDERSON holds an MFA from the University of Denver and is a certified art teacher.  She has been teaching art to children and adults for over a decade. 

MARTIN AQUINO is a native of Argentina and studied English as a Second Language at the JF Kennedy Lenguas Vivas (Teachers Training College).

REBECCA ARRINGTON has a BA in English and EPO Biology from the University of Colorado. She has taught Developmental Mathematics at CMC for two years and taught math and science in the RE-1 School District for five years.

NANCY BARBOUR is currently the coordinator of the ceramics program for the CMC Aspen Campus. She received her MFA from the University of Florida. She has been an artist in residence at the Mendocino Art Center and the Carbondale Clay Center.

GINT BAUKUS has over twenty years of human resource experience working with Fortune 50 companies in various industries.  He earned his MBA in Human Resource Management from Loyola University of Chicago, and has taught for the MBA program at Benedictine University. 

ALLYSON BELLA-DODDS received her Master’s Degree in Education and an endorsement in English as a Second Language from Regis University.  She currently teaches language arts and reading for the Roaring Fork School District.

SARABETH BERK received her MA in Teaching Art and Design Education from Rhode Island School of Design and a BA in Visual Critical Studies from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Sara has been involved with implementing and coordinating art programs at the high school and elementary levels.

DINA BLOOM is a native of France and holds her MA in English Linguistics and Communication from the University of Tours, France.  She is currently working toward her doctorate in linguistics from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

PATRICIA BRAMSTEAD is an internationally known master printer.  She has taught for Cooper Union in New York, Graphics Studio in Florida, and other institutions. 

ROY BRANDT holds a degree in creative writing from the University of Texas at El Paso, an M.A. in communications from Stephen F. Austin State University, and a B.S. in journalism from the University of Kansas. 

MEREDITH BRICKELL is a studio artist living and working in North Carolina.  She received her MFA from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln and was a Core student at Penland School of Crafts for two years.  Meredith exhibits her work nationally and has taught at Penland, Arrowmont, and Claymakers. 

HILDA BRYANT has an MA in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix and holds her American Red Cross Certified First Aid / CPR / AED Instructor for the Lay Responder in English and Spanish.  She is a bilingual First Grade teacher at Basalt Elementary School. 

TOM BUESCH has his Ph.D. in German Language and Literature from Northwestern University.  He is a Professor of Communications and Humanities at Colorado Mountain College, Aspen Campus.

KRISTIN BURKS has an MA from Colorado College and has completed certification in teaching English as a second language.

MARIA CARBONETTI received an MA in Spanish from Middlebury College. She teaches Spanish at Aspen Country Day School.

CATHY CARLISLE-MCMULLEN received her BA in Public Relations and Speech Communications from Otterbein College. Her work is represented by Agora Gallery, New York. She has taught painting courses for Colorado Mountain College since 2003.

BOB COOK is a certified accupressure therapist, graduate of Chinese Medicine and Chinese Chi Kung Healing Exercises.  Bob is a Western U.S. and international martial arts competition champion.  He is a 40-year student of martial arts, oriental, and natural health practices.

MARYLU CURIEL holds the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Atemajac Valley in Guadalajara, Mexico.  She also has teaching experience in Mexico.

DONNA DALTON has her MS from California State University at Fullerton and her BS in Engineering from UCLA.

TERRY DANKO holds a degree in civil engineering and is a licensed charter boat captain.  He was a swimming coach at University of Colorado for five years, has been teaching diving since 1972, and owns a diving business in Aspen.

GWYN EBIE received her B.F.A. from the University of Kansas and her M.B.A. from the University of New Mexico. She is a Professor at Colorado Mountain College’s Aspen Campus. 

JOYCE FALCONE has been an acting land operator and tour guide specializing in Italian programs for over eight years. A tour designer, land operator, and tour guide specializing in Italy, she has led sixty walking programs in Italy.

SHELDON FINGERMAN holds an MS in Communications from Pacific Western. He holds two accreditations from Microsoft, and has been an adjunct faculty member at CMC since 1994.

MATTHEW FISCHER is the studio manager of the Painting and Critical Studies program at Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass Village.  He studied printmaking, ceramics, and painting at the University of Wisconsin River Falls and received a B.F.A. in 2005.  Fischer recently returned to the U.S. after spending an academic year teaching conversational English in a high school in central France.

BRYAN FRANK received his BS in Technology Education from Colorado State University. He has taught AutoCAD, mechanical drafting, and architectural drafting at Rifle High School and is currently a freelance consultant.

LIZ FRAZIER attended the Washington Studio School, Corcoran School of Art, American University, and studied art in Siena, Italy.  Exhibitions of her work have been held at the Circle Gallery, the Washington Project for the Arts, the Washington Studio School Gallery, and the University Club of Washington, D.C.

SANDRA GAMES was born in Argentina. She has a degree in Ballet, and studied Spanish folk dancing, American tap and jazz, hip hop, Ukrainian folk dancing, salsa, break dancing, martial arts kickboxing, and belly dancing. She has been teaching the Picante (dance-aerobics) class at CMC Roaring Fork Campus for the last three years, and CMC Aspen Campus for the past year.

NOEL GANNETT has an MA from CU Boulder in Spanish and English as a Second Language.  Noel is currently a bilingual First Grade teacher at Basalt Elementary School.  She is an American Red Cross Certified First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor for the Lay Responder in English and Spanish.  She is also an ARC Certified Pet First Aid/CPR Instructor.

D.D. GERDIN is an American Red Cross Certified First Aid / CPR / AED Instructor for the Lay Responder.

JENNIFER GHORMLEY is an artist who employs a variety of techniques in her translation of ideas into works of art.  She received her MFA in printmaking in 2006 from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.  Her work can be found in the Sheldon Memorial Art Museum, Lincoln, NE as well as in numerous private collections.

ANNE GOLDBERG has been playing with clay since childhood. She is a studio potter based in Carbondale, making both handbuilt and wheel-thrown functional ceramics fired in soda, salt and reduction. She holds a BA from Cornell University and a Master’s Degree from Stanford University.

LINDA GUGLIELMO holds a BA from the University of Maryland in Hearing and Speech and attended graduate school at Gallaudet College.

RETT HARPER holds an MA from George Washington University. She has taught English and theater at the high school and junior high levels and has written and directed 22 of the Aspen Community School’s annual musicals. She has been teaching at CMC since 1993.

SAM HARVEY received his BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute and his MFA from Alfred University School of Ceramics. He has been both an artist in residence and a ceramic studio assistant at the Anderson Ranch Art Center.

MOLLY HATCH has a BFA from Tufts University and is currently an MFA candidate at the University of Colorado at Boulder.  Molly has taught multiple workshops and courses and has exhibited her work nationally and internationally. 

EILEEN HINCHLIFFE received a BA from UNC and has taught fitness classes since 1977.  She is a certified fitness instructor and is currently a Division Director for Colorado Mountain College.

JAN HUBBELL received her MFA in Fiction from the University of Iowa, The Iowa Writer’s Workshop, in 1980.  She has taught English Composition, Business Writing, and Fiction Writing classes and is currently at work on her second novel. 

STU HUCK received his BA in Psychology with a minor in Photography from the University of New Mexico.  He is currently the owner of a photo lab.

MICHAEL HUTTON has been an Emergency Medical Technician since 1979 and worked for the Basalt Fire District and Ambulance Service for seven years.  He has been a ski patrolman since 1976 and is a patrol person at Buttermilk Ski Area.

CHUCK JOHNSON is a licensed Equine Veterinarian, as well as a certified OCE, EMT-P, PALS and PHTLS provider. He is also a CPR and ACLS instructor, as well as a Primary EMS instructor for the State of Colorado. In addition, Chuck serves as the Medical Coordinator for Mountain Rescue Aspen and Buttermilk Ski Patrol.

STEPHEN KANIPE is the Chief Building Official with the Aspen/Pitkin County Community Development Department.  He is ICBO certified in five areas and a CABO Certified Building Official.

SUSAN KOSCH trained and competed for over 13 years in Ballroom Dancing in Indianapolis, Washington, D.C. and New York. She won the nationals as an amateur in her age division in 1985.

ADRIANA LISMAN is a native Spanish speaker from Buenos Aires, where she studied fine arts at the Universidad de Bellas Artes.

LINDA LOESCHEN earned her BFA from New York University and a certificate of graduation from Parsons School of Design. Linda taught dance in New York and New Jersey, as well as dance and fitness classes in the Roaring Fork valley since 1975. 

JAMIE MAHAFFEY holds an MEd with an emphasis in ESL/Bilingual. She is a teacher with the Aspen School District.

BRAD MANOSEVITZ has been studying aikido since 1990. He assisted, taught and administered the Young Peoples Program for eight years in Santa Cruz, California. Brad was promoted to second degree black belt in December 2000.

CAROLYN MANOSEVITZ holds a BA cum laude from the University of Minnesota and an MFA from the University of Texas.  She is an active professional painter/educator and belongs to the College Arts Association. Her work is part of private and corporate collections in the U.S., Canada and Israel.

SCOTT MESSINA has been teaching avalanche education since 1984. He is a member of the American Association Avalanche Professionals, and an advisory board member for the Colorado Avalanche Information Center. He also is a backcountry ski guide, and owner of Aspen Alpine Guides.

BOB MORSE received a BA from the University of Denver.  He has been an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) since 1976 and he has extensive experience as a ski instructor and raft guide.

LORRAINE MILLER received her BA from San Diego University and her MA from Adams State.  She also holds teaching credentials in multiple subjects, as well as ESL and LDS certificates.

PATRICK MURPHY has a BS in Geography and is completing an MS in Geography/Natural Resourse Management from Southern Illinois University. 

DAVID NOTOR has studied art at the Colorado Art Institute. He has attended several workshops with artists Albert Handell, Richard Mckinley, and Doug Dawson. He currently teaches out of his studio at the Red Brick Art Center in Aspen.

SUSAN OLSEN holds a fine arts degree from the University of Iowa, as well as an Med. She began her career teaching art at the secondary level and has taught college students and adults. She began figure sculpting over a decade ago, studying under sculptors Paul Lucchesi, Kirsten Kokkin, and Susan Cliard.

RICK PARSONS teaches for Anderson Ranch.  His work is internationally recognized.

VICKI PATTERSON holds an MA in English as a Second Language from Adams State.

JULIE PAXTON has a BM from New England Conservatory of Music and an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts. She is a professional singer, teaches voice, yoga and movement and has an interfaith wedding ministry.

ANJULI PERKINS received her BA in art from Houghton College with an emphasis in ceramics. 

BO PERSIKO, MDiv, did his graduate studies in Religion and Psychotherapy and was a Lutheran minister. While working as the clinical director of a psychiatric treatment program for adolescents and their families, he became licensed as a clinical social worker. For a time he also studied and practiced Zen Buddhism. After several years of study of the Hebrew Bible, he converted to Judaism. He is now a practicing psychotherapist.

POLLY POLLARD, BFA, recently earned a CELTA certification in teaching English as a Second Language.

LESLEY RAMEIL holds an MA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Northern Colorado.  She has extensive local teaching experience.

DOUG RHINEHART has his BS from Colorado State University and is a former Division Director for Colorado Mountain College. His black and white photography has been exhibited throughout the West.

ELLEN RIEDER received her MA from George Washington University. She studied Spanish at Estudio Sampere in Madrid and recently earned a CELTA certification.

ADRIAN RIPPY-SHEEHY BA, has over 18 years of real estate experience including being a Employing Broker, Multi Million Dollar Producer, and former Realtor of the Year in Arizona.  She is a Certified Real Estate Instructor.  She holds a Colorado and Arizona Broker’s License, and is an Associate Professor/ Real Estate at Colorado Mountain College.

JOANNA RODDE BA, holds a bilingual endorsement and lived in Mexico for over twenty years.

VINCE SAVAGE has an EdD from the University of Northern Colorado in counseling psychology. He was chairperson and professor of the psychology department at Colorado’s Women’s College and has an additional 10 years of experience working in the college environment.

NATASHA SEEDORF, a former jewelry-making student at CMC, holds her MFA and BFA, magna cum laude, in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from the University of Georgia.

BETH SLATER received her BA, cum laude, from St. Lawrence University.  She is completing her MA thesis in English at the University of Vermont.

SHAYNE MORGAN SLEDGE received her BA from UCSD and has studied yoga and meditation for over 20 years. She is currently teaching yoga and meditation in the Aspen area.

STAN SNYDER is a Certified Public Accountant. He received his BS in Business Administration from the University of Denver and is a certified Quickbooks® ProAdvisor and a certified MOUS (Microsoft Office User Specialist). 

STEVEN SOWLES BS BAM  Fire Chief Sowles of Snowmass-Wildcat Fire Protection District graduated with honors from Redlands University of California and has been in the fire service since 1975.  He brings extensive expertise, experience and training in all levels of Fire Science Training.  Teaching experience includes and is not limited; to Fire Prevention, Arson Investigation, and Hazardous Materials. 

KATRINA STRECKER has a BA in Management Information Systems and Spanish from Washington State. She owns her own computer instruction, web site design , and technical consulting company.

AMY SUPLEE is a Colorado Licensed Acupuncturist with her Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine from The Five Branches Institute in California.  She has her own practice, treating individuals in the Roaring Fork Valley. 

KATE VAN ALSTINE received her BS from the University of Illinois. Her enthusiasm for clay began at Lill Street Studios in Chicago, and continued at the Anderson Ranch.  www.vanalstinepottery.com

RAMON VERDUZCO received a “Licenciado” in economics from the University National of Mexico.

SARA VOORHEES BERRY graduated magna cum laude with a degree in English from Lake Forest College and completed her MA at CSU, where she taught English Composition.  She holds an RSA/ESL diploma and has taught ESL in Indonesia.

GEORGEANN WAGGAMAN has a BA in Interior Design and Illustration from The Los Angeles Art Center College of Design. She first worked as an interior designer in Los Angeles and since 1973 as an architectural illustrator throughout Colorado. For the past ten years she has concentrated on painting watercolor landscapes. 

LIMOR WERTZ began studying Classical Ballet when she was four years old.  A native of Israel, she served for two years in the Israeli Army.  She has a degree in Physiology from the University of Tel Aviv, and has Pilates Certification by Stott Pilates. 

JERRY WILLIS has an Associate of Fine Arts and a BS in digital design from the University of Cincinnati. He is currently self-employed as a web site designer and developer.

LEE WILSON has a BA in Chemistry from Grinnell College and an MS in Geology from the University of Colorado. Prior to CMC, he taught Geology at Angelo State University, San Angelo, TX.  

KERRY WIRTH received a BSE degree from the University of Kansas.  She is an American Red Cross instructor and instructor trainer for: CPR, First Aid, AED, water safety instructor, lifeguard training. Kerry is also a PSIA certified ski instructor and American Heart Association Basic Life Support instructor.  She is the Emergency Medical Services and Risk Management coordinator for CMC, Aspen.

SUSAN WOOLLEY has taught ESL for many years at Aspen High School.  She has her MA in Secondary Education: English as a Second Language.
